Edward J. Carney, 86, passed away on March 13, 2006. Born on November 11, 1919 in Storm Lake, Iowa, Edward served with the US Army for 23 years (WWII Veteran). He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Elsie; 5 sons Paul, Joseph, James, John, and Patrick; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and sister Ella Mary Chalmers of St. Louis, MO. A funeral mass will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church, Fr. Edwin Leonard presiding. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
