Edward Cundiff, Jr.

Edward Cundiff, Jr., 88, of Munroe Falls, passed away on November 26, 2009. He was born on July 23, 1921 in Somerset, KY. Edward retired from Ford Motor Co. after 27 years of service. Edward served with the US Army during WWII and was honored with four Bronze Stars. He was also an avid gardener. Survived by his beloved wife, Ruby, of 63 years; daughter, Louise (Jerry) Woods; sons Eddie (Darla) and David (Angela); grandchildren, Jerry, Jr. (Dione) Woods, Angela (Brian) Burgess, Erica (Howard) Hershberger, Emily (Doug) Dales, and Tina Cundiff; great-grandchildren Shelby and Kyle Burgess, Samantha and Brianna Woods, and Kamdyn Hershberger. In addition to his brother and sisters, he was preceded in death by his daughter Amy Elizabeth. Calling hours will be Monday, 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
