Edward H. Elzholz

Edward H. Elzholz, 57, after a bravely fought battle with cancer, went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2013.
He was many things to many people; devoted husband, loving father, amazing grandfather, and loyal friend to so many. Through the most difficult times, he was always there to lend an ear, crack a joke or bring a smile.
Preceded in death by his father, Donald Elzholz. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 39 years, Christine; his two children, Jennifer (Mark) Stover and Jason (Cinthia) Elzholz; his mother, Donna Elzholz; brothers, Donald (Myrna), Matt (Sunday), and Mark (Sue) Elzholz; grandchildren, Allison, Brittany, and Andrew; and many other family members and friends.
The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Western Reserve for their superb care during Edward's illness.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, 4-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Western Reserve, 17876 St. Claire Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110 or Graham Road Baptist Church, 705 Graham Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
