Edward Henry

Edward "Whitey" Henry, 66, passed away on September 24, 2011. He was born in Morgantown, WV on February 7, 1945. He was an avid West Virginia Mountaineers Football fan and enjoyed travelling to Las Vegas and Mountaineer. Whitey retired from the Akron City School and later worked at Duffy's Restaurant. Preceded in death by his dad, Ralph. Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth; daughter, Robin Henry, of Texas; 3 grandsons, Justin, Benjamin, and Nicholas Weir, of Texas; his favorite aunt, Pauline (Harold) Gaskill; and many cousins and friends. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
