Edward L. Miller, 62 of Akron, passed away October 31, 2009. He was born October 26, 1947 in Canton, OH, to the late Roy and Betty Miller. Ed is survived by his wife, Susan (Kyle); stepdaughter, Kathleen Kyle; brother, John Miller (wife Debra); aunt, Vivian Crawford; life-long friend, Dwight Pulos.
Ed was a 1965 Graduate of Lehman High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. He was a career employee at SD Myers for more than 25 years. He was an active and proud member of the Tadmor Shrine, The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio, Shriners of North America – Valley of Canton chapter, the William McKinley Valley of Canton Scottish Rite, and the IEEE.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where Masonic Services will be conducted at 7:45 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
