Edward B. Warner

December 23, 1936 — April 18, 2022

Edward B. Warner, 85, passed away April 18, 2022 at home. Born in Berry, Kentucky, he moved to the Akron area at the age of 13. Eddie went to Buchtel High School and was a trumpet player in the marching band. He was an organist and entertainer all of his adult life, often performing at many places across the country. Eddie owned and operated a bar in Chicago Heights for a period of time. He also enjoyed cooking, drinking, being in charge and watching Wheel of Fortune as well as the Magnolia channel.

Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Woods; step-father, Glen Woods; wife, Sandra. He will be sadly missed by his partner, John Grimm; friends and former associates.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Eddie's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
