Edward D. Williams
Edward D. Williams, 59, of Akron, passed away December 22, 2007. Ed was born August 11, 1948 in Texas City, Texas to the late Edward and Elsie Williams. He was a member of Insulators Local 84 and belonged to several pool leagues in Florida, including the APA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Williams and son, Edward "Brian" Williams. He is survived by his daughter, Lindsey D. Williams; son, Jeffrey W. Williams; sister, Bonnie (John) Farris; brother, Rod (Kristine) Williams; and grandchildren, Kaydence and Taylor. He will be sadly missed by family and friends of the Florida and Akron communities. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
