Edwin G. Hansen, 84, of Akron, passed away November 5, 2004. Edwin was born and raised in Erie, PA. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and later received an engineering degree from Case Institute of Technology. In his spare time, Edwin was an avid fisherman and boater. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Roberta; mother, Anne Hansen; children, Edwin, Jr., Susan (Mark) Finley, Kevin, David (Leslie), and Timothy; sisters, Geraldine and Nevada (Jack); grandchildren, Jennifer Finley, Michelle Finley, Ian Hansen, and Shawn Hansen; many nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Private burial was held at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted.
