Eileen E. Cvitkovich (nee Moore), 74, went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2013, following a brief illness.
Eileen was born in Akron on May 19, 1938 to the late Edward and Nelle Moore. She was a graduate of East High School class of 1956 and a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Eileen was employed as a manager at Subway for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her friends from Clarence May, with whom she loved playing Bingo. Most important to Eileen was the time she got to spend with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Kate, Betty, Peggy, Mary Lou, James, and Jack; niece, Charlene; nephews, Patrick and Randall. Survivors include daughters, Christine (Gene) Williams, Karen Cvitkovich (David Allrutz), Michelle (Joe) Moran; son Randall (Tarra); grandchildren, Eric (Melissa) Jarvis, Jason (Wilhelmina) Jarvis, Nikki (Addison) Roberts, Gene Williams, Sean Williams, Jimmy Cvitkovich, Brandon Hicks, Tony Moran, Tyler Moran, Trent Moran, Alisha Coley, Cameron Cvitkovich, and Kylee Cvitkovich; great-grandchildren, Cale , Dane, Cy, Knox, Jordan, Kennadee, and Addison.
Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-5 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Prayers will be held Monday, 9:15 a.m., at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be Monday, 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton Ave., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew Church.
