Eileen Helen Pressdee

Eileen Helen Pressdee, 90, of Green, passed away on September 1, 2016. She was born in Akron on July 21, 1926. Eileen was a longtime member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going out to dinner with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Amelia Rumpf and second loving mother, Nina Rumpf; brothers, Adam, Elmer, and Carl Rumpf; sister, Clara Marino; and great-grandson, Samuel Dean. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 68 years, Lewis Pressdee; children, Marsha McKinsey, Ronald (Becky) Pressdee, Cynthia (Robert) Chrisman, and Michael (Bonny) Pressdee; brother, William Rumpf; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Hospice of Summa Home Care for all the care and support given to Eileen and her family.
Family and friends may call on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. A private funeral service and interment at Rose Hill Burial Park will take place on a later date.
