Eileen E. Jones, 84, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 24, 2001. Eileen was an avid reader and loved attending family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her firstborn daughter, Margie M. Askew; firstborn grandson, Ray Hart; and stepson, Richard Jones. She is survived by her daughters, Janet (Richard) Trennell of Uniontown, Nancy (Kenneth) Williamson of Brimfield, Linda (Gene) Lindgren of Springfield Twp., and Jean (Paul) DeWitt of Barberton; son, Benny Jones of Oklahoma City; stepdaughter, Janet Gardner of FL; brothers, Billy (Joyce) Brown of Columbus and Harold (Helen) Bush of AZ; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Friends and family may call on Thursday, December 27th from 6-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N.
