Eileen M. Hawk "Tootie"
Eileen M. Hawk, 87, of Akron, passed away peacefully at home December 1, 2013. Tootie was born on August 12, 1926 in Oil City, Pennsylvania to the late Leon and Laura Weikal.
She was a gifted musician who loved playing the piano and organ. She also enjoyed golf and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. She will always be remembered as a very loving and generous lady. Over the years, Tootie volunteered her time as a Girl Scout leader and spent countless hours creating beautiful Christmas stockings for loved ones. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Tootie is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Laurence; daughters, Shirley Workman and Sheree Hawk; sister, Shirley (Raymond) Downing of Conneaut Lake, PA; granddaughter, Kristen (Jeff) McCoy; brothers-in-law, Harold (Donna) Hawk of Silver Spring, MD and Martin Hawk of Lordstown, OH.
