Eleanor Bishop, 84, of Tallmadge passed away July 17, 2008. Eleanor was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband Harley; parents Peter and Dorothy Gojkov and three brothers. She is survived by daughter Dorothy (Earl) Horn; sons James Allen (Becky) Bishop and Ted (Patty) Bishop; 9 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Essex Nursing Home for their love and care. Funeral services will take place at 6 P.M. on Monday at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd., Akron with Rev Scott Campbell officiating.
