Eleanor L. Phelps, 81, of Mogadore, passed away March 10, 2008 at Akron General Medical Center. She was born December 18, 1926 in Akron, Ohio to the late Walter & Lena (Shaffer) Kallenbach. Eleanor was a graduate of East High School and was a member of the Mogadore Garden Club and La Sertoma Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Kallenbach. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, E. Jay Phelps; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy S. & Raymond Labuda; sisters-in-law, Jane Kallenbach, Kathleen Phelps (Ed) and Alma Dean Miller. Private funeral services will be conducted at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
