Eleanor D. Sims, 79, passed away on March 4, 2008. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kenmore and enjoyed singing in the choir and attending the Young at Heart activities. Preceded in death by her husband J.P. Sims and twin sister Eloise Comer. Survivors include her son Gary (Carrie); granddaughters Angela and Renee Sims; great-granddaughter Chloe Renee Cole; sister Imogene (James) Harris; and brother Bob Keffer. Calling hours will be Thursday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Friday, 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Kenmore, 2330 East Ave., Pastor Rick Fox officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
