Eli E. Chupp

Eli E. Chupp, 86, of Hartville, passed away on June 27, 2017.
He was born in Apple Creek, OH on April 1, 1931 to the late Ezra and Lovina (Miller) Chupp. Eli worked for Gene's Sunoco in Akron for many years. In his free time, he loved being with his family and cheering on the Cleveland Indians.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores Ann Chupp; son, Eli Chupp; brothers, Joseph, Dan, Levi, John and Aden; sisters, Lovina, Anna, Mary, and Amanda.
He will be deeply missed by his son, Joseph (Brenda) of Louisville, OH; daughters, Monica Sue Craig of Bloomington, IL, Amanda (Jeff) Childers of Suffield, OH, and Lovina Chupp of West Lake, OH; brothers, Jacob of Millersburg, OH, Ezra of Norton, OH, and Monroe of Fredericksburg, OH; sisters, Ida Nisley of Dundee, OH, Mattie Schlabach of Sarasota, FL, Fannie Yoder of Gallipolis, OH, Katie Stutzman of Apple Creek, OH, and Lydiann (Atlee) Burkholder of Apple Creek, OH; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 10-12 followed by a 12 noon funeral service with Father John Zapp officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery in Hartville.
