Elizabeth D. Culp, 97, of Akron, passed away October 13, 2004. Elizabeth was born November 17, 1906 in Berkley Springs, WV to the late Albertus and Susan Dawson. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother throughout her life. Along with her own children, "Culpie" nurtured and cared for many other children over the years. She was a faithful member of Brown Street Church of Christ and will be missed by the brethren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Marion and Lewis; sisters, Opal, Cleda, Florence, Ada, and Viola; granddaughter, Jennifer Sue Logsdon and great-granddaughter, Jenna Sue Bills. She is survived by her daughters, Sue Ellen (Dale) Taylor of Uniontown and Carol Ann (Michael) Logsdon of Akron; grandchildren, Todd (Lorie) Taylor, Lisa (Steve) Bills, Tim (Kim) Taylor, Matthew (Kelly) Taylor, Joel (Nicole) Taylor, Robert (Shawna) Logsdon, and Lucas (Michele) Logsdon; great-grandchildren, Brett, Leah, Cole, Taylor, Rachel, Seth, Mark, Reece, Jeremiah, and Rafe; and many special friends. Friends and family may call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with Mr. Lewis Willis officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
