Elizabeth Ann Goff

Elizabeth Ann Goff, "Liz", age 76 of Canton, Ohio, went home to be with our Lord on January 10, 2022.
She was born on January 8, 1946 in West Union, WV and worked for Akron Public Schools for 27 years. She was loving, kind, fun, humorous, and was "Mom" and "Friend" to everyone.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Goff Jr.; her mother, Evelyn (nee Kent) Dosch and her father, George Dosch.
Liz is survived by her daughters, Joannie (Nathan) Flynt and Lisa (Bryan) Wilson; and her sister, Joan Dosch; as well as many cousins and good friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Temple Baptist Church, 1212 Greensburg Rd., Uniontown, OH 44685. Funeral will immediately follow at 1:00 PM.
Interment at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Temple Baptist Church in Elizabeth's memory.
We would like to specially thank her doctors at Summa, Summa Emergency in Green, and the nurses and doctors on 4 North, Summa Akron City Hospital.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
