Elizabeth A. Gubash (Toney)
Elizabeth A. Gubash (Toney), 73, of Uniontown, died on March 6, 2005 at Akron City Hospital. She was born November 12, 1931 in Dothan, West Virginia to the late Everett & Effie (Webb) Toney. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother and aunt. She was a member of Calvary Gospel Temple Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Willis Toney. She is survived by her husband, Tilman "Gill" Gilpin of Uniontown; daughter, Sheila Hynds (Edward Nelson) of Akron; step-son, Dennis W. Gilpin of Texas; sister, Margaret (Roy) Lively of Akron; brother, Gene (Brenda) Toney of West Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Jerry Justice officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
