Elizabeth C. "Liddy" Hanna, 86, passed away October 12, 2023 after an extended illness. Born in Akron, Ohio to Frank and Alice (Miller) Nicholson, she was a lifelong area resident. Liddy worked at B. F. Goodrich for several years and was a member of Maranatha Bible Church. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, gardening, her numerous pets and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Liddy was preceded in death by her husband, Don Hanna; siblings, Martha Eggert, Raymond Nicholson, Dorothy Jones, Judy Csonka. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Joan Nervo; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial ceremony will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home.
