Elizabeth Rose Holt

Elizabeth Rose Holt, age 73, of Copley went home to glory on Saturday, December 18, 2021. She was born in Akron on April 4, 1948, the daughter of the late Joe and Laura {Matsel} Stacka.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her brother Bernie Stacka.

Elizabeth's legacy of love will be carried on by her love of 60 years, Marston Holt; children Dawn (John) Waycaster and Shaun (Theresa Riggs) Holt; grandchildren Lauren Gustavel, Kailen Boggs, Carmen and Cameron Holt; great-grandchildren Arianna and Annabella Gustavel.

Elizabeth was a very involved and faithful member of Millheim Baptist Church for 41 years, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School and AWANA club. She loved her family and her little doggie Shiloh more than anything, and being there for them was her first priority. Elizabeth always had open arms, a kind word and a beautiful smile for everyone she met. Elizabeth had a positive outlook on life, and her positivity was contagious.

All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, 44305 on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Kim Lawrence officiating.
