Elizabeth "Jeanie" Willingham (Crowe)
Elizabeth "Jeanie" Willingham, 47, of Akron, passed away on November 28, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jeanie was born on June 20, 1959 in Canton, Ohio. She was employed by Verizon Business and will always be remembered for her hard work and dedication. In her free time, Jeanie enjoyed visiting the beach and spending time with family, particularly her granddaughter. Jeanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gordon and Olive Lowther; sister, Lori Crowe; and father-in-law, Bill Willingham. She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Rusty Willingham; children, Nichole Bunner, Patrick Lemmon, and Michael Lemmon; mother, Linda (Grady) Adcox; father, Roger (Kathy) Crowe; sisters, Becky (Gary) Iuliano of Florida, Lisa (George) Lemmon, and Kim (Roger) Yeager; brother, Gregory Crowe; grandchildren, Nya Stovall and Race Rogers; nieces and nephews, Bruce and Scott Bailey, Joe and Sara Lemmon, Brittany Crowe, Carrie Crowe and her children, Myca and Caiden; stepchildren, Tara (Christian) Rogers and Nikki Willingham, both of Georgia; mother-in-law, Norma Willingham of Tennessee; brothers-in-law, Brian Willingham and Leslie Willingham, both of Georgia; special friends, Kim Wallace, Terri Snyder, Gia Senigaglia, and Marian Crockett; and beloved dog, Trixie. Jeanie's family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Summa for all the care given to her in her final days. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 10-1 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with Rev. Joseph Lee officiating.
