Ellen Marie Pool Justice
Ellen passed away November 6, 2004. She was born in Sistersville, WV on July 17, 1923 to Charles Edwin (Jingles) and Midred K. Pool. She was preceded in death by her sister, Laura Jane; her parents; and her husband. Ellen attended school in Sistersville, graduating in 1942. She married Charles Roy Justice on December 22, 1945. Ellen served as first lady president of the Silver Beaver Colony of the Great Trail Council of Boy Scouts of America. She had 36 years service in the Boy Scout program. She was also a member of General Tire Boy Scouts Mother Club, where she served a term as president. Ellen was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 67 for a number of years. She was a member of Old Time Scouters and Grace Baptist Church. She is survived by several cousins and many friends. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Sistersville, WV.
