Elsie H. Oliver
Elsie H. Oliver, 79, loving mother and grandmother, passed away June 30, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Her gentle and kind spirit was felt by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Marie Friedman; sisters, Esther and Ruth; and a baby daughter. She is survived by her children, Cynthia House, Linda "Sis" (Steve "Tom") McCracken, Clarence "Tim" Oliver, and Nancy (Don) Brodie; sister, Delores Mickley; brothers, Nick (Eileen) Friedman and Thomas (Carol) Friedman; grandchildren, Robert Comely, Tina Mann, Jen Blankenship, Timothy John Oliver, Gary Oliver, Shannon Oliver, Patty Brodie, Brian Brodie, Samantha Brodie, and Nicole Brodie; great-grandchildren, Robert Comely III, Steven Mann, Katie Mann, Brianna Mann, and Matthew Blankenship. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Pitt and the nurses and staff at Pebble Creek Nursing Home and Cuyahoga Falls General for the care given to Elsie. A special thanks goes to Jackie, Amy, and Bernadette for the excellent care they provided, as well as special friend, Stacie. Family and friends may call TODAY from 6-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 p.m. with Rev. Kim Lawrence officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
