Elva A. Swartout
STOW--Elva A. Swartout, 71, died September 11, 2007. Born August 16, 1936 in Stow, OH, she had lived in the Stow area all her life and was a member of the Stow "Class of 54". She was a member of the Northampton United Methodist Church and a former member of the Yusef-Khan Caldron. Elva worked in X-Ray at area hospitals in Ravenna and Akron. Preceded in death by parents Bill and Olive Platt; son-in-law Eric Witt and great-granddaughter Sara King. She is survived by her husband Don, with whom she would have been married to for 52 years next month; daughters Cathy Witt, of Cuyahoga Falls, Cynthia (James) Hreha, of Stow, Crystal (Larry) Buterbaugh, of Akron, and Donna (James) McDougal, of Newport, NC; grandchildren Kelly (Richard) King, Julie Witt, Donald (Amy) Witt, Cody and Sean Hreha, Jessica and Jay Buterbaugh, Gina and Joe Castro; great-grandchildren Kaylee and Nathaniel King, Ashley, Eric, and Joshua Witt.
