Emilie "Billie" Inama, 98, passed away on July 26, 2013. Emilie was born on December 10, 1914 in Akron. She was an avid golf fan and enjoyed bowling and travelling to Hawaii, Norway, and Japan, to name a few destinations. Emilie retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. after 34 years of service.
Preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Joseph Inama; sisters, Dolores Fischer and Betty Burchett.
She is survived by her 6 nieces and nephews, whom she treated like her own children, Bruce (Liz) Fischer, Pat (Ralph) Wilson, Jacqueline (Dennis Schilling) Nowels, Joan (Rod) Kinzel, Charles (Bonnie) Burchett, and John Fischer; and several great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E. Waterloo Rd., Akron 44319. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.
