Emily R. Barb (nee Grimm), age 87, went to be with her Lord on January 2, 2019.
In her prime, Emily was an avid bowler. She also had a long career in real estate.
Emily was the daughter of the late John Grimm and Bernice (nee Robinson) Grimm Klever.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Bruce; her loving daughter, Susan Mooney; her siblings, Elsie Thomas, Grace Burton, Daniel, Melford, and John Grimm.
Left to cherish her memory are her three wonderful grandchildren, Matthew, Ashlee, and Eric Mooney; her sisters, Dorcas Matteson and Marilyn (Richard) Thomas; her sister-in-law, Thelma Grimm; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.
Emily will be laid to rest next to her husband in Restland Cemetery, Brimfield, Ohio.
