Emma Jean Hale

Emma Jean Hale, 85, left this world February 24, 2025 to be with God and her beloved husband David. Born in Zenith, WV, she resided in Akron and later Mogadore, OH all of her adult life. Emma was a longtime employee of Cornerstone Christian Bookstore. A woman of strong faith, she enjoyed her card ministry, holiday gatherings, and spending time with her family.

Emma was preceded in death by her husband, David Hale; mother, Irene Miller; sister, Marguerite Dunbar; mother-in-law, Phyllis Hale. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Christy Hale, Wendy Hale; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will have a celebration of Emma's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Emma's name to Feed the Children.
