Emma Jean Hoover, age 79, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012. She was born on June 11, 1933 to Milburn and Emma Pearl Newsome. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilmer "Bill" Hoover; brothers, William, Robert and Gail. Survived by sister, Thelma (Percy) Cale; children, Doug (Julie) Hartman, Linda (James) Lanham and Marilyn (Hartman) Rollyson; step daughters, Charlotte Wonn and Jane Dishman; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
