Emma (Toots) Quillen

Emma (Toots) Quillen, 73, of Mogadore, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 20, 2006 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born December 1, 1932 in Pennsylvania. Emma's days were filled with loving her family. She was also a caregiver to many over the years wherever a need was found. She was a member of Mogadore Christian Church where she belonged to the Thursday evening Women's Bible Study Group which she dearly loved. Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin J. Quillen on January 26, 1992; and her father, Audrey Cessna. She is survived by her mother, Mildred A. (Scritchfield) Cessna of Mogadore; daughter, Linda (Kevin) O'Hara of Lenexa KS; son, David (Joanne) Quillen of Green; grandchildren, Angela and David (Heather) Quillen; special friends, Doug & Barb Knoll; many nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Eugene Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Pastor Higgins, the Hospice Care Center and the band of angels who work there.
