Emory C. Williamson

Emory C. "Red" Williamson, 86, passed away January 20, 2022. He was born on March 7, 1934 the son of the late William and Edith Williamson. Emory proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed riding his Harley around town with his friends. He also enjoyed rebuilding Model A's which was always a work in progress. He was a hard worker and always had an eye for a good deal.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Lois, Marilyn and George "Blackie"; and beloved daughter Teresa Williamson.
Emory is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Katharina Williamson; daughter Eva (Neal) Powell; granddaughters April (Tugg) Massa, Amy (Adam) Yeager, Shyann (Malcom) Powell; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held February 1, 2022, Tuesday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 1:00 PM.
Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
