He was born to parents David (Stephanie) Gardner and Dorothy (Kent) Hamblin, on March 8, 1967, in Akron, Ohio. Eric is also survived by sisters, Pamela Curenton and Elissa Gardner and his children, Cody, Tabetha (Jason) Turner, Brandi, and Evelyn. Along with his six grandchildren, Layla, Alaina and Olivia Gardner, Miles and Mya Turner, and Aspen Wright.
Eric was known for his passion for music and his love for his dogs, Cleo and Caeser.
