Eric David Godfrey, 46, of Akron, passed away peacefully in his sleep from natural causes on April 6, 2018. He was a graduate of Ellet High School and worked at Austin Tape & Label for many years.
He will be dearly missed by his parents, Pamela Shreve-Jones (Darrell Jones), and Larry Godfrey, Sr. (Debbie); siblings, Joe (Judi) Godfrey, Julie Godfrey-Cornish (Paul); nephews, Jake Godfrey and Jonah Cornish, and many extended family members and friends.
Family and friends will be received for visitation on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where the memorial service will be held immediately following at 12:00 pm. To leave a special message for the family online, please share a memory below.
