Eric Wayne Patchin

Eric Wayne Patchin, born August 25, 1988, passed away December 13, 2021.
Eric had a passion for baseball growing up, playing from ages 4-19. Eric was an avid pool player with different leagues and a longtime Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Eric joined the U.S. Marines in 2011 and served 8 years.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sondra McHan.
Eric is survived by mother, Paula McHan-Johnson (Dennis); fiancé, Nikita, and their children, Dakota and unborn child as well as Aidyn; Shannon mother of Eliza, Zoey, and Azalynn. Eric also leaves sisters, Kayla (Ryan), and Kassidy; aunts and uncles, Lucky and Jill, Howard and Beth; cousins, Dick, Joel (Theresa) and daughter Madalyn, and Scott; friends James and Dean. Eric will be missed by many other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday Dec. 22, 2021 from 5-7 pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral services will be held on Thursday Dec. 23, 2021 at 12 noon with visitation from 10 am until the time of service. Procession to follow to Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
