Eric Stephen (Dolph) Lundgren passed away on July 19, 2009 at the age of 32. Eric was born February 28, 1977, in Columbus, Ohio, raised in Hilliard, Ohio, and graduated from Hilliard Davidson High School. Eric was in the United States Army from 1996 to 1998. Eric married Nicole Smith on December 31, 1999 in Hilliard. He graduated from Stark State College of Technology in January of 2009 and was employed by Windstream Communications in Hudson, Ohio. Eric and his family lived in Ellet, Ohio. Eric is survived by his wife, Nicole and daughters, Madison and Zelia and his little white, dog Willie. He is also survived by his parents, Barbara and Glen Lundgren of Hartstown, Pennsylvania, brother, Todd and his wife, Michelle of Canal Winchester, Ohio, brother, Scott and his wife, Dawn and their children, Courtney, Vinny, Kyle, and Cory of Niles, Ohio, mother-in-law, Maggie Smith and her mother, Oma Friedel, sisters-in-law, Marcie Smith, Sherry Davis and her son, Anthony, all of Frankfurt, Germany and other loving friends and family members. Eric coached the Ellet Girls Softball team in 2002 and 2003. He enjoyed Tae Kwon Do, running, and all electronic toys. Eric was an avid Ohio State and Cincinnati Bengals football fan. Eric was also a four year member of the Hilliard Senior Choir. Eric had such a big heart, and we will all miss your teddy bear hugs! Visitation will be held Sunday July 26, from 1-2 p.m. followed by a 2 p.m. funeral service at Unity Chapel of Light, 503 Northwest Ave, Tallmadge, Ohio 44278. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
