Erick L. Deel

Erick L. Deel, 49, passed away on November 28, 2011, after a long illness. Erick graduated from Garfield High School in 1980. He was the president of the Chippewa Valley Archaeological Society and commissioner of the Natural Football League. Preceded in death by his mother, Roberta Marie Deel and cousin, David Allen Deel. Survivors include his father, Leroy Deel; sister, Stacey (Randy) Weeks; brothers, John (Lori) and James Deel; and 6 nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Saturday, December 10, 2011, from 1-4 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
