E. L. "Bill" Hanna passed away at his residence in Atwater on June 4, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine and four children. He was a lifelong resident of Akron, the son of Clarence & Imogene (Burnam) Hanna. Bill is survived by his daughter, Carol Schantz; son, Marshal Hanna; grandson, David Schantz; 2 great-granddaughters; sisters, June Gusbar of Tampa FL and Marjorie (Jim) Housley of Cuyahoga Falls OH; and brother, Clarence R. (Janet) Hanna of Medina OH. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to Atwater Fire Department, 6570 Waterloo Rd., Atwater OH 44201.
