Ernest "Jack" Rouse

Ernest "Jack" "Pap" Rouse, 85, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away at his home on June 18, 2013 on his 85th birthday. He was born on June 18, 1928 to William and Rose Rouse in Akron, OH. Jack served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and a Junior Vice Commander of Polish Legion American Veterans USA Post 32. He retired as Supervisor of Electronics from Goodyear Aircraft, Aerospace Lockheed Martin after 36 years.

Jack loved sharing dinners and bowling with friends Dick (Lois) Lott. He is survived by his loving Daughter, Chris (Dennis) Shaffer and Grandson, Dustin Shaffer. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Leah J. Rouse, Twin Brother, Richard Rouse, Brother, Bill Rouse, and Sister, Betty Pfaff. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH.
