Ernest B. McClung

Ernest B. McClung, 71, passed away on April 19, 2007. Born in Summersville, WV on June 17, 1935 to the late John and Hattie McClung. Ernest retired from Wooster Motor Ways after 38 years of service, was a US Army Veteran, a member of the Army Navy Club, and a member of Mayfarer Masonic Lodge No. 789 F. & A. M. He also enjoyed hunting and playing Euchre. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Anna J. McClung and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife Juanita of 25 years; stepsons Richard (Linda) Beal, Sr., of Akron and David Schmitz, of South Carolina; stepdaughter Janie (Ted) Woods, of Pomeroy, OH; brothers Howard (Cora), Jim, both of Canvas, WV, and Gene (Lou Ann) of Powhatan, VA; sister Nina (Jim) Kays, of Illinois; grandchildren Richard, Jr., Eric, Matthew, Jared, and Jefferson; several great-grandchildren; and many dear friends. Special thanks to Hospice of Summa for their care and support. Calling hours will be Sunday, 5-8 p.m. and Monday, 12-1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
