Ernest L. Radcliff

Ernest L. Radcliff, 82, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2024 with his wife by his side. Born in Kewanee, MS on May 23, 1941 to Eugene and Maurine (Miller) Radcliff, he resided in the Akron, OH area most of his adult life. Ernest graduated from Middleton Attendant Center School and was the proud owner of Radcliff Trucking over 40 years before retiring. He enjoyed mowing the lawn, watching the Western Channel and spending time with his grandkids.

In addition to his parents, Ernest was preceded in death by his sister, Glenda Radcliff. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 40 years, Wanda; children, Angela, Ernest "Gene", Bruce, Sherise, Lamar (Ericka); grandchildren, Kayla, Jordan, London, Mattison, Juaquene, Jr, and several others; great grandson, Tayton; sisters, Peggy, Gloria, June; many other family and friends.

Everyone is invited to visit Friday, March 29, 2024 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Mount Peace Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Ernest's name to the charity of their choice.
