Ernest J. Tarle, Iii

Ernest James Tarle, 37, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on May 13, 2024. Known to many as "Ernie," he was born on March 20, 1987, in Akron, Ohio.

Ernie was a kind and loving soul who always extended a helping hand to others, even in the face of adversity. His unique sense of humor never failed to bring a smile to those around him, making even the toughest days a little brighter. His biggest passion was sitting with family while watching the Browns game and playing xbox with his wife and online friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ernie is survived by his wife, Shannon Tarle , stepson Alex Watson, mother, Florence Zehnder; stepfather, Mike Fillous; father Ernie Tarle, Great uncle; Duane Zehnder, Siblings; Jeremy Zehnder (Erin) , Joshua Fillous (Theo), Jessica Zehnder (Austin), Best friend; Dale Long, Also many family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dayle and Jean Zehnder, and Ernest Tarle, as well as stepbrothers; Michael Fillous and Ryan Fillous, Uncle; Dayle Zehnder Aunt; Tracy Zehnder and cousin; Andy Zehnder.

Ernie attended Waterloo Primary for his primary education and graduated from Waterloo High School in 2006. He furthered his education at Kent State, studying aeronautics.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life for Ernie this summer, inviting all who knew and loved him to come together to honor his memory.
