Ernest Wolf, 83, born April 23, 1937 in Akron went home to be reunited with his beloved wife Sharon on January 4, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents William H. Wolf and Florence (Kettel) Wolf, and sister Alice Jean Bojo. Ernest's memory will always be cherished by his son Ernee (Virginia) Wolf, Lonnie (Tammy) Wolf; grandchildren, Brittany (Max) Briggs, Breanna (Gary) Martin, Brandi Wolf, Melissa (Sammy) Mandeville; many great-grandchildren; and his sister, Billie Anne of Texas.
Ernest served his country for more than 15 years in the U.S. Army, Civil Air Patrol (in which he received his pilots license) and the U.S. Coast Guard Aux. He was an avid fan of classic cars, aircraft, and a good war movie.
Ernest's hard work ethic and commitment to be the family provider was his success story in which he proudly passed down to his sons.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 13 at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd., Akron. www.NewcomerAkron.com
