Ernest E. Zimmerman, 82, went home to be with the Lord on March 22, 2007. Ernest was a member of Ellet Community Church of God and retired from Admiral Machine Mold Co. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce; 7 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors include niece Asa (Frank) Hillyard; nephew Dr. Mark (Paula) Smith; dear friends Danny (Cynthia) Meadows; and several other nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron. Funeral service Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, Pastor Wayne LaFollette officiating.
