Esther Caroline Potter

Esther Caroline Potter, 75, of Akron, passed away May 23, 2008 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born July 27, 1932 to the late Raymond & Mildred Burman. Esther worked as a telephone operator at Akron Children's Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Burman; and sisters, Jean Larson and Dixie Falting. She is survived by her daughters, Linda J. Maynard, Leona J. Sztolyar (John), Debbie L. Hindel (Dwight) and Millie A. Hanlon (Dave); 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and brother, Bill Burman. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron with Pastor Scott W. Hindel officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. Sunday until the service begins. The family wishes to thank the CCU at Akron General Medical Center and the Hospice Care Center for their excellent care.
