Ethel A. Holepit
Ethel A. Holepit, 94, of Akron, passed away July 3, 2007 at Manor Care of Akron. She was born July 21, 1912 in Maryland to the late Julius A. & Nellie E.(Muir) Martin. Ethel was a life-long resident of Akron and was an avid BINGO player. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Lewis Holepit; and sister, Mary Taylor. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Gregory; grandchildren, Dennis (Theresa) Gregory, Jennifer (Jim) Midock, Joanne (Brian) Timmerman; great-grandchildren, Derren, Justin, Ben and Katie; sister, Francis (Jack) Palmer; special friend, Helen & Jack Blosser and family. Calling hours will be Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Brian Nutt officiating.
