Eugene Lester Raybuck, born November 5, 1923 in Apple Farm, West Virginia, passed away with his family by his side on July 12, 2016. He retired from BF Goodrich in 1989. Gene was a talented gardener and builder and always completed every job perfectly. He passed on his work ethic to so many others. He welcomed everyone into his home as family and was "Dad" and "Grandpa" to many people. He had a great sense of humor and a quick wit. Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Brenda; grandson, Eric; parents, Cleve and Willa; and sisters, Dessell and Linda. He is survived by his daughters, Sheila (Bob) Jordan of Louisiana and Marsha (Rick) Vincent of Tallmadge; siblings, Dorothy, Kester, Delores, and Kenneth; sister-in-law, Murdayne (Delvin); grandchildren, Chad (Devon), Heather, Nicole (Marcus), Jody (Amy), and Melissa (Jason); great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Aurora, Elizabeth, Autumn, Lily, and Aiden; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 10-11 followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service with Rev. Michael Fetty officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
