Eulalia Marie Cook, 87, of Akron, born May 7, 1923, passed away December 23, 2010. Eulalia was formerly a member of Annunciation Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and currently a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. She was a talented pianist and a wonderful cook. In addition to raising a large family, Eulalia found time to work at O'Neil's. Throughout her life, she maintained her kind spirit and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; son, Christopher; daughter, Pamela Dennis; and five brothers and sisters, Eunice, Aurelia, Dean, Noel, and Lloyd. She is survived by her children, Douglas, Blaine (Georgene), Charlene, Adrian (Barbara), Garret "Keith", Mark, Brenda, Marilyn (Dean) Hahn, and Kent; grandchildren, Andrea, Nathan, Benjamin, Aaron, Toni, Andrew, Alicia, Naomi, Kera, Laura, Caleb, and Adam; step-grandchildren, Melissa and Marsha Smith; and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton St. Please meet at church.
