Eva E. Ritz, 74, of Akron, passed away October 7, 2004 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born March 7, 1930 in Akron, Ohio to the late Lorenzo & Lillie (Brown) Cutright. She was a lifetime member of United E. C. Church of Tallmadge; a member of People Serving People for 14 years; R.S.V.P. for a number of years. Eva loved sewing and doing crafts. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin H. Ritz on March 16, 2000 and daughter, Lorna Ritz; 2 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Ritz of Akron; sons, Larry (Margie) Ritz of Wadsworth and Lanny (Debbie) of Tallmadge; grandsons, Eric Marvin Ritz, Joseph Dean Ritz and James Franklin Ritz; sister, Irene (John) Wyatt of Colorado; brother, Milford (Pauline) Cutright of Akron; many nieces and nephews; dog and loving companion, Darby. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Hollinger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron OH 44333.
