Eva M. Caruso

Eva M. Caruso, age 96, longtime resident of Akron, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at her home. She was born on March 26, 1916 in Akron to the late Frank and Lena Rose Prem. Eva retired from General Tire and formerly volunteered at St. Thomas Hospital. She loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, John V. Caruso; daughter, Rosemary Prester; son, John S. Caruso. Survived by son, Frank Caruso; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; daughter-in-law, Judy Caruso; son-in-law, Marv Priester.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44319. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any cancer charity of donor's choice.
