Evelyn Bennett Westfall, 76, of Akron, passed away November 29, 2011. She was born March 9, 1935 in Calhoun County, West Virginia. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; son, Cecil Jr.; and sister, Jean Raines. She will be deeply missed by her children, Amanda (Craig) Cairns of Akron and Joe (Maria Fernanda) Westfall of Ecuador; sisters, Loleta Wilson and Edith (Darwin) Myers; brother, Harold Jr. Bennett; grandchildren, Marcus Westfall, Logan Cairns, and Lucas Westfall; and other relatives and friends. Family and friends may call on Sunday December 4 from 3-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Stephens of Grace Baptist Church officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Evelyn's family.
